The APS invites everyone to a relaxed winter picnic around a wonderful OPEN FIRE, between the shore and beautiful bushland of Manly Dam War Memorial Park.
We have booked Section 1, Table 2 which is close to the entrance. Look for the banner flag with the Purple APS Eye.

Parking is free on the streets outside the entrance, and a short walk to our picnic spot. Inside the park gates, there is paid and disabled parking at the War Memorial itself, or a little further along at the Section 1 sign.
Public transport is by B1 and 145 buses, either from the north or from the CBD.

The picnic site is fully accessible, with playground and toilet facilities nearby.
Please feel free to bring friends that may be curious or anyone that might enjoy 'meeting the others', as Timothy Leary put it.
- $5 donation per person, or gold coin (fees are payable for this site) cash or payID on the day to cover the cost of booking the table. Bring:
- Food & Drink as suits
- Picnic rug and chair
- Dogs are not allowed in the park
- Something to share
- musical instruments
- Contingency due to bad weather or park closure will be Balgowlah RSL Club.
It does also need to be disclaimed that this a drug-free event for those who may have misinterpretations about the role and function of APS events.
