Brisbane - Regular Meetups

  • Alternating locations - see below for details (map)

Our monthly social meetup in the lovely New Farm Park. This month, we're very excited to have Amy Be as our special guest speaker!

Fascia Bodyworker, Yoga Teacher and Plant Medicine Ceremonial Supporter, Amy Be, has crafted an expansive career sharing wisdom on self-regulation techniques to minimise the impact of worldly stressors on the body and mind.

When exploring psychedelic medicine, she advocates the integration aspect as being just as important as the journey itself. With informed practice, the risks involved can be massively reduced as well as our experiences hugely enhanced, regulating trauma responses and receiving previously hidden wisdom at the same time.

As guest speaker at this month's APS gathering; she will be sharing techniques for, and awareness of, embodiment practices for integration, that can be easily learned and applied pre, during, and post experience (psychedelic or otherwise!) to maximise the positive benefits available to us.

Join us on Sunday February 18th to connect with what is happening beneath the surface by embodying the present moment and taking a deep dive into your witnessing capabilities and emotional control when you apply what you learn in our talk today.

Short talk starting at 11.30am, guided meditation, and then followed by integration sharing + Fascia and Embodiment Q+A.

You can find out more about Amy Be at:

Our regular social events are free to attend, and are a great opportunity to connect with likeminded others and share advice and experiences. New members are especially welcome, and if it's your first time and you are feeling unsure, feel free to ask a question on the event page or drop a direct message to a group moderator.

This is a family friendly event - children and friendly dogs are very welcome to attend! We also recommend bringing a chair or a picnic blanket to get comfortable on for the event.

If using public transport, the following options will get you close to the event location:

- Brunswick St at Bowls Club, stop 16, Bus 196, 5min walk.
- Merthyr Rd at Alford Street, stop 12, bus 199, 12min walk.
- New farm ferry terminal.

To find us, look for the purple Australian Psychedelic Society flags that will be set up around the area. If you can't find us, feel free to post in the event page for assistance.

There are toilets and a cafe located nearby.

We look forward to seeing you!
