Psychedelic Art Class Series 1 | Mandalas & Meditation

  • 496 Marmion Street Booragoon, WA, Australia (map)

Mandalas are one of the more traditional psychedelic art forms; they have been created by different cultures and religions all over the world, and have long been used as a meditation instrument to focus one's attention and create a sense of wellbeing.

In collaboration with Seven Spheres Creations, the Perth Chapter of the Australian Psychedelic Society presents the first of a series of workshops intended to celebrate and educate on the beauty and influence of Psychedelic Art.

Come along and learn the mindful art of drawing mandalas with Cale from Seven Spheres Creations (instagram.com/sevenspherecreations).

* Begin the session with a guided meditation with Claire from Conscious Movement (instagram.com/consciousmvt).

* Discover the history and cultural significance of mandalas, and how they intersect with the history and cultural significance of psychedelic medicines.

* Learn about design basics and canvas preparation, how to find personal sources of inspiration and your own style.

* Experience the benefits of this meditative and creative art form!

* All materials are supplied, and you’ll get to take home your own beautiful canvas piece, as well as the new skills to continue your practice.

Date: Saturday 25 May

Price: Early bird $90 (on or before 24 April)
